Providing safe sanctuary, education, and hope to break the cycle of homelessness
Eternal Life Restoration Outreach (ELRO) is a faith-driven nonprofit providing low-barrier shelter, nutritious meals, and housing navigation to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
In 2024 alone, ELRO sheltered 136 guests, served over 16,000 meals, and supported 50 individuals in transitioning into stable housing — breaking cycles of homelessness with dignity and hope.
Through strong partnerships with The McNabb Center, Metro Drug Coalition, JourneyPure, CenterPoint Rehab, and community agencies across Knoxville, we deliver wraparound services that address mental health, addiction recovery, and long-term stability.
Our approach is holistic — meeting immediate needs with shelter and meals, while guiding each guest toward lasting restoration through counseling, recovery support, and housing solutions.
